Could be bad earths, take the battery and battery tray out and check the negative earth tags where they are bolted to the frame. Unbolt them, clean up the tarnishing and rust from the area, etc, and refit. Quote.

The car bucks and wobbles violently any time the rear wheels hit the slightest bit of uneveness in the road; slow or high speed and with the back empty. This feels potentially lethal especially at high speed. Seems to corner OK and has never bottomed out. I was driving my Mondeo (Mk3 TDCi 6-speed manual) on the motorway the other day at 80mph in 6th gear when I lost all drive through the transmission and the car began to slow down. It was as if I had de-clutched the engine from the transmission. The self-diagnosis which then starts lasts a few seconds. An animated display appears in the E (A)TC display during this time. Any faults found are displayed in the form of trouble codes. Example: First of all, "93" flashes for 2 seconds, then "42" flashes for 2 seconds - DTC 9342. If no faults are stored, then all of the segments in the 7XEuUaY. 78 412 101 870 342 971 799 769
