hey richard have got this x type back after clearing fault codes and has a whole lot of fault codes ,0300 random missfire, 0302 cyl 2 miss fire, 00304 cyl 4 miss fire, also has codes which dont say any thing but the numbers are 1314, 1549, also n1646, o1647
The stability control system gets all it's information from the ABS system. The ABS system gets all it's info from the wheel speed sensors. Once the ABS system stores a trouble code, it shuts off the stability control and lights both lights. So, get the ABS trouble code read. That's the starting point.
