Some HRM's can be shorted and reset by re-inserting the battery reversed. the HRM Pro can only store 18hrs of data and will only forward data to the phone or watch it was originally connected to. You can reset your HRM's step calibration by going to your watch's sensors menu and select the HRM > HRM Pace & Distance > Reset Calibration Data.
delete the HRM Pro from the watch sensors list, so the watch will use its own OHR, and pair it with your phone using bluetooth. Then, you can record the same activity on the watch and on the phone using the strava app with the hrm pro plus as hrm. Of course, you will have to somehow align the 2 HR recordings to be able to compare them.
