Then I tried far cry 4 and most of it was completely uninterrupted with no problems, at best during one combat segment the game’s music seemed to just stop. Im really confused because it really seems to affect DMC5 and some other Re Engine titles the most but my other apps and games just arent being affected as badly.

If you happen to use the Realtek HD Audio Manager, and have a 5.1 system, try setting the manager to 7.1, then disabled the "Side pair" there in the Audio Manager. This resolved a lot of issues I was having in the past with other games and surround sound.
